Hello and thank you for visiting my website! Please call me Lana. My nickname has stuck with me ever since I was two years old.
I have digestive issues and migraines which have really helped me to understand first hand the effects of food and emotional triggers.
I also have a strong family history of Type 2 diabetes and breast cancer. Being proactive in these areas has been successful so far for me. Eating whole foods and decreasing the amount of carbohydrates has been very helpful in keeping my bloodwork in check! I struggle with regular physical activity on my own, but do love taking yoga and aquafit classes at my community centre!
My tag line line is “Your Health, Your Way” because I believe that everyone chooses their own path to being healthier. There is no one right way! I am here to support ,troubleshoot, and keep my client’s accountable for the goals they set for themselves.
I am registered with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia and am a member of the Dieitians of Canada. I have been a dietitian for 35 years and have a MBA (both from McGill).
My experience includes managing food service and nutrition in rehab, long term care and acute care settings, doing menu audits and developing recipes.
